Invisalign in Arlington, VA

Thanks to Invisalign® clear aligner therapy, you can get a straighter smile in less time and without the look and hassle of metal braces.

Having a perfect smile is something many people long for. Invisalign can be an excellent way to restore your teeth to a more desirable position if you have mild to moderate spacing issues, crowding, or gaps. To begin attaining your dream smile, we take 3D scans of your teeth and send them to a lab. During this time, we will also discuss what you would like as the end goal for your teeth so that the lab has an idea of what they should work towards creating in terms of orthodontic trays.

  • Overbite: Upper front teeth close in front of the lower teeth.

  • Underbite: Lower teeth protrude past upper front teeth.

  • Crossbite: Upper and lower jaws don't line up.

  • Gap Teeth: Extra spaces between teeth.

  • Open Bite: Top and bottom teeth don't meet.

  • Crowded Teeth: There isn't enough room in the jaw for teeth to fit normally.

  • Baby and Permanent Teeth: Phase 1 orthodontic treatment for growing children with a mix of baby and permanent teeth.

  • Generally Straight Teeth: When you want a straighter smile.

FAQs About Invisalign

How does Invisalign work?

Invisalign uses transparent, thermoplastic material that looks similar to teeth-whitening trays. You’ll receive a different set of custom-made aligners every two weeks based on your treatment plan.

How often do I need to wear my aligners?

You’ll wear your aligners for about 20-22 hours every day. They should only be removed to eat, drink, brush, and floss your teeth.

Will they affect my speech?

It’s common for some people to experience a slight lisp for the first couple of days of wearing their aligners. But, eventually, you’ll get used to having them in your mouth, and the lisp should disappear.

How much does Invisalign cost?

Payment options are available, and our office can answer any questions regarding financing your Invisalign treatment.

Does insurance cover Invisalign?

Since insurance coverage differs from policy to policy, you’ll want to review your plan with your insurance provider. Typically, if you have orthodontic coverage, Invisalign should be covered to the same extent as traditional braces.

Does Invisalign work?

Yes. Millions of individuals have seen success with Invisalign treatment. It was developed by orthodontists and is used in dental practices worldwide. However, successful treatment largely depends on wearing the aligners as instructed and following the treatment plan.

Invisalign isn’t for everyone, however. For cases that require more drastic movement, traditional braces may be the only treatment capable of getting the desired results.
